The Most Romantic Weekend of My Life
We stayed at the Dunes campground. We did a lot of hiking and had a really romantic picnic catered for us at our destination spot where he asked me to marry him. Plan your hike for evening time when the moon is full, and lights up the sky well, and when the tide is low, that makes it especially romantic. Summer strolls at the dunes are the very best, because you don't even need sandals. We hiked to the same spot every single night we were there, hand in hand, no talking, just listening to the waves. When we got to our ""spot"", we stayed there a very long time, until the wee hours of the morning. During the day, we spent a lot of time hiding out in our tent, because so many people were active and walking around, and we just wanted complete privacy. A few times, we left and went into town to pick up extremely fresh seafood to grill. The prices were very good for salmon and other types of seafood.
